THE JOY OF SERVICE!
On March 3, 2017, I went on a mission trip to New Orleans with NAPS. We canvassed in the French Quarters. Canvassing is basically fundraising, and we fundraised for NALA and a NAPS mission trip to Ethiopia. We also went to a neighborhood that had been struck by a tornado. We assembled with people from the local churches and helped to repair a house. We removed debris from one families home. Most of the roof was gone, but everything else was intact. Unfortunately, what seemed intact was actually ruined by water damaged and we had to remove everything. The family was happy that we came to help. I really enjoyed the mission trip, and I would love to go on another one.
